You are eligible for a refund if you cancel your Cambridge English exam before the test date or if you are absent on the test day under the conditions below.
Full Refund
You will receive a full refund if:
- your cancellation request is submitted within 14 days of registration (payment date) provided that the registration with Cambridge has not been completed.
Partial Refund
You will receive a refund minus a 25% administration fee if the cancellation request is made under the following circumstances:
- the request is submitted 14 days after the date of registration (payment date), but before the registration deadline for the test
- illness or a medical incident on the exam day
- bereavement (loss of a close family member)
- hardship or trauma (for example, being a victim of crime or being involved in a traffic accident)
Submitting a Refund Request
If you are absent on the test day for one of the reasons listed above, your refund request must be submitted via email within three days of the test date, and must include the required supporting evidence (e.g., a doctor’s certificate confirming you were unable to take the test, a police report confirming the circumstances of a traffic accident, etc.).
If we do not receive both your request and the supporting documentation within three days after the test, you will be marked as absent and will forfeit all claims.
Please note that refunds may take four to six weeks to process. If approved, refunded amount is issued using the same payment method at registration.
If you have any questions, please contact us at pginfo@britishcouncil.me .
Candidates may request a change to the date or time of their Speaking test by contacting the British Council. A fee applies for changing the Speaking test date or time. This change is only possible within the same examination Speaking window, if the Speaking test is organised more than once during the same session and if alternative arrangements can be made.
