The British Council has the pleasure of announcing the new edition of PlayUK in Montenegro, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture Montenegro and the Film Centre of Montenegro. PlayUK platform for promoting digital arts will be revisiting the capital of Montenegro this time in a slightly different format. This year’s edition will bring together creative professionals and enthusiasts interested in digital products and digital arts.
In this edition, we will provide professional development opportunities for artists, filmmakers, theatre directors, musicians, marketeers and others to embrace interactivity, gamification, speculative design and transmedia methodologies into their practice as a means of adapting their approach for the emerging age of playful media.
As always, PlayUK will also bring fun to wider audiences. The final days of PlayUK this year will be dedicated to an interactive showcase which will consist of the latest creative artistic video games from the UK. Audiences of all ages will have the opportunity to learn about them, test them and play the games for free! The games will be set in exhibition format so even the people who are not generally into gaming will be able to enjoy.
